April currently teaches at Sony Studios Fitness Center and New Roads School in Santa Monica. You can hear her meditations on Insight Timer.

April Grace began her yoga practice in the year 2000. She was studying at Southern Oregon University, and yoga was a requirement for her movement and voice coursework as an actor. She has been practicing ever since.

In 2007, April began her training as a yoga instructor at the Hatha Yoga Center in Seattle. In the summer of 2008, she traveled to Bali, Indonesia to practice yoga, and received certification from Bob Smith (author of Yoga for a New Age) and Ki McGraw (Doctorate in Healtheology). She has since done trainings with Jason Crandell, Shiva Rea, and Katherine Priore.  She is a certified Eat Breathe Thrive facilitator and trained in the way of council. She has studied meditation and mindfulness with Dave Mochel, Erich Schiffman, and currently with Dr. Elizabeth Stanley.

April is also a certified Advanced Mat Pilates teacher, a certified Essentrics 2 teacher and has attained the 2nd Degree in the Reiki Method of Natural Healing.

Possessing an eclectically diverse set of skills, April uses creativity to inspire her teaching methodology, while always approaching movement with joy and a body positive message! April has taught people of every shape and size, from grandmothers with arthritis to children of all ages to professional actors.
